Safe Storage Notice
To help protect Michigan's youth and prevent firearm-related unintentional injuries, Michigan Compiled Laws (MCL) 28.429, Section 9 of 1927 requires firearm owners to securely store firearms whenever minors are present or likely to be present. This notice is designed to assist parents, guardians and gun owners to comply with the new secure storage requirements.
Fire Drill
All students must exit on the east side of Justin Whiting Hall and use sidewalks to proceed to the designated area just east of the Victor Cuiss Field House.
Tornado Drill
As quickly and quietly as possible all students must move away from all glass doors and windows and gather on designated interior walls for protection.
Lock down Drill
Staff should turn off lights, shut all doors, and have all students out of sight of any entrance. Students should remain as quiet as possible.
