JPEC’s Fall Calendar Highlights
As the leaves fall from the trees, our list of activities and events here Jackson Preparatory & Early College (JPEC), the tuition-free middle and high public school academy on the Jackson College campus is piling up!

October is a busy month here at JPEC. Sports, clubs, and extracurriculars are all in full swing with middle school and varsity volleyball games and cross country meets every week. Robotics kicked off last month with build sessions three afternoons a week and Saturdays. This level of commitment is leading to awards at regional competitions!
Spirit Week is October 6-10 with Homecoming games and events October 9th and 10th.
The Homecoming volleyball game is October 9th in Jackson College’s Jets Air Station fitness center which houses four basketball courts, four volleyball courts, six pickleball courts, and two tennis courts.
Because we’re located on the campus of Jackson College we use all the college’s state-of-the-art facilities. Even our middle schoolers participate in the college experience with full campus access. Fun night/Astronomy Night for our 6th-8th graders is October 14th in the EIC/JC Observatory.
A Spooktacular Celebration for All!
We’re celebrating Halloween with the community-wide Jackson College Spooktacular October 24th, 5:30pm-7:00pm. This event is open to the public and a great way for younger siblings and relatives to tour JPEC. Invite your friends to join us!
At JPEC we follow the same vacation calendar as Jackson College. So like them, we’ll be taking a break from October 15-20th.
Parent-Teacher conferences are November 2nd.
Thanksgiving Break is November 24th- 28th. You’ll have a whole week off to enjoy and relax!
Winter Break is December 18th - January 2nd.
