We're the only whole-school Early College program in the state that includes a full middle school, meaning a student can walk through our doors in 6th grade and walk across the graduation stage with a high school diploma and an associate's degree in hand.

Up to 60+ College Credits & Graduate as a College Junior

Students enrolled at JPEC can earn up to 60 or more college credits, completely tuition-free. How much is 60 credits? Enough to graduate with a full associate's degree before they ever leave high school.

Thanks to the Michigan Transfer Agreement built into JPEC's graduation requirements, those credits transfer seamlessly to four-year universities across the state like Jackson College and Adrian College.

It's Not Just College Credits, Career Certifications Are Covered, Too

JPEC students don't have to choose between college and a career path, they can pursue BOTH at the same time, all tuition-free.

Through the Jackson Area Career Center (JACC) partnership, JPEC students have access to more than 20 career certification programs spanning fields like Automotive Technology, Health Sciences, Culinary Arts, Computer Information Technology & Cybersecurity, Construction Trades, Engineering, Cosmetology, Dental Occupations, Welding, and many more. Whether a student's future is in a four-year university, a skilled trade, or both, JPEC covers the cost of getting there.

Proof of JPEC's model isn't just in the credits earned, it's in what happens after graduation. We have the highest percentage of bachelor’s degree earners 3 years after graduating in the whole state.
